Best UG and MSc Theses submitted to UK Universities
The prize
The UG prize is sponsored by the UK Heat Transfer Society and is awarded every two years at the UK Heat Transfer Conference Dinner. It consists of the following:

£250 monetary prize

A Certificate

Free admission to the UK Heat Transfer Conference

Invitation to the Heat Transfer Society Annual Dinner in March 2027

The MSc prize is sponsored by the UKNHTC and is awarded every two years at the UK Heat Transfer Conference Dinner. It consists of the following:

Free admission to the UK Heat Transfer Conference

Eligibility
UG (including MEng) and MSc theses submitted to UK Universities in the period between 1st January 2024 and 31st December 2025 where the main topic is Heat Transfer (or its direct application) will be eligible for the Prize.
Submission
For the UG prize: An electronic copy of the thesis and a support letter from the Supervisor explaining the merits of the work need to be sent to Dr Hezlin Ashraf at hezlin.ashraf@ej-bowman.com and also copied to admin@uknhtc.org.

For the MSc prize: An electronic copy of the thesis and a support letter from the Supervisor explaining the merits of the work need to be sent to Dr Marilize Everts at m.everts@ucl.ac.uk and also copied to admin@uknhtc.org.

All submissions must be received on or before July 31st 2026.
